I took a look back through the blog recently and was surprised to see that it has been a little over two years that I have been writing this. A lot has changed in that time, but some things, the important things, really haven't.
When this blog was started, Master and I were engaged but not yet married. Now, we have our first full year under our belt and are heading to the second anniversary in a few months. We've changed some of our rules. Not in a major way; more to make them meaningful and functional for us. We've also added a few more rules.
We're also living somewhere completely new. It was about a 1600 km move which is pretty massive. We survived a four-day cross-country trek with a kidlet and two dogs in tow. AND we did it with our senses of humor and our sanity intact which is no mean feat. We are also down a kidlet after the move which means that I am getting used to a completely different family dynamic.
There are some things that haven't changed. We're still very much in love and very much committed to a control-based relationship structure. It's what works for us and keeps us on track even when there are things that challenge us.
I know that when I started writing this, I never expected that people would be interested in how Master and I live our lives. Not in a major way. We're currently at just over 2k views and that is surprising in a good way.
Who knows where we'll be in another 2 years!?
