It's gotten pretty damn busy here at chez Master and finding time for everything has been difficult. There have been doctors appointments for the kidlets (and, as a result, x-rays and bloodwork and MORE doctors appointments for the kidlets. I have had to book one for myself although that's not until next month. Then, there is work, and finding time to exercise, and getting the car serviced as well.
After all of this is done, there will be competitions I have to drive the eldest to and activities that the youngest is taking part in as well. I'm working full time and also spending a lot of time writing for pay too. All of this helps my bank account but it makes it rather difficult to ever relax and have a quiet day.
Even this past weekend was busy. I had both days off but ended up doing some running around on Saturday and cleaned the living and dining room of the house on Sunday. We'd been letting a lot of clutter build up so I had a lot of things to go through. There was also a ton of dust that had built up on furniture in weird little out of the way areas that were hard to get to so that all needed to get cleaned up. It took quite a while but things are looking presentable.
This is the point in the year where it doesn't feel like there are enough hours in the day to get everything done. I'm beginning to look forward to all of the activities coming to a close. I know that there will be almost as much stuff going on in the summer as there is in the winter but at least it won't feel so hectic.
Here's hoping that it turns out this way THIS year, anyway.
