One thing that I want to accomplish while Master is away is to get things organized a little bit more. I want to get the house organized and purge a lot of my things that I just don't use or need anymore. I also want to give everything a nice, thorough going over so that it is nice and clean by the time Master returns. Now, with a whole host of animals and two kidlets I know that I have to keep my expectations realistic but I have hope.
I am also trying to be a bit more productive when it comes to writing. I usually have a few different projects on the go and being able to get more work done at one time will really be helpful. I tend to get distracted easily and as a result, things either get overlooked or they get put off and put off until the time to do them has passed.
I ended up buying a bullet journal today. It seems to be a cool way to get everything together in one spot. I know that there are artistic types who will have beautiful looking journals whereas mine will look more like it was created by a drunken monkey with artistic aspirations. I know where my strengths are and drawing things is not it. I have a strong suspicion that if someone were to look at my journal (the first few pages, at least) they will say "this girl has a great love for whiteout".
I'll keep you posted as to how things go with my plans. I tend to be a short lived with stuff so there is a chance that this journal thing will end up dying a premature death. Who knows. I have hope though, and plenty of time to get things in place. Master likes anything that helps his home run more smoothly so I know that he will be on board with what I want to do.
I'm enjoying reading your blog. I bought a bullet journal too, but I don't use it as often as I envisioned I would, but I have found it is somewhat helpful.
ReplyDeleteI'm just getting started and am hopeful that I will keep up with it. I'm sure Master is quite willing to make sure I keep using it especially if it is helping to keep things on track at home.
