Things have been quiet around the house lately. I've been recovering from a back injury that happened a little over a week ago. Usually I snap back after a few days but for some reason this time it took closer to a week to get better.
Friday night, Master and I went to his work Christmas party. It was fun and I had a lot of wine to drink. I always enjoy getting dressed up and going to things with Master. We're planning to go to a work-related New Year's Eve party as well which should be fun too. Master and I don't go many places where we can get dressed up and I will have to admit, getting to be a bit girly is really wonderful. I tend to wear jeans a lot of the time and I end up getting grubby and messy at work so doing my hair and nails and putting on a dress is fun. I don't think I would have as much fun with it if I had to do it on a daily basis but I do like it once in a while. I know Master likes it when I look my best.
This weekend was nice because Master and I both had time off together which is not something that happens often. I work in retail and that means working weekends. Lately, he's been away a bit as well so even when I have been off, he has been away. That means we haven't had a lot of down time together which is something that the both of us miss very much.
We're hoping to be able to play tonight. Both kidlets will be out of the house and I am feeling much better so tonight should be fun. I never know what is in store and I know that I will have to be a bit careful about what I do because I am getting better but I'm not all the way there yet. We'll see how things go and hopefully both Master and I will get to have some fun tonight.
