Back to Busy

Its been a little while since I have posted anything and a big part of that is simply due to how busy everything has been. Work has been fairly hectic and now that it's September, there are all of the activities that the kidlets have that take up time during the week. I did take a few days off at the end of August but they flew by and now, before I know it, it's the end of September.

Master is home now. He changed jobs so there is a little adjusting to do with that. He hadn't been away much with his old position but all of that has changed. Now we are looking at him being gone almost all of the month of October which is going to be hard but doable. I've been working really hard at accepting his absences and instead of being upset with them, simply being happy with having him around when he is. I know that I can manage the household and keep things running smoothly but its still stressful.

Our one year wedding anniversary is tomorrow. I can't believe how quickly the time has flown by. It feels like we have known each other for a very long time but it's actually only been three years or so that we have been together. It seems like we spent one year dating/living together, one year engaged and now, one year married. It's a good fit though, and as we have learned more and more about one another it has only proved to us how well-suited we are for one another.

There are a few things that Master and I are trying to implement to make sure that the household does run more smoothly. We are trying (well, I am) to be more careful about how the money gets budgeted and ensuring that I pay down my debt better. I am also working on trying to get, and stay, more focused and organized. My last goal is to get in better shape and end up looking and feeling better. So far, things are progressing although it is at a slower pace than anticipated.

Who knows what the next year will bring? The one that has just passed has been a very, very good one and I am simply happy to have a wonderful man in my life to watch the time go by.
