Valentine's Day

Master and I decided to celebrate Valentine's Day yesterday instead of today. There were two reasons for this. The first was that I was working today and we didn't want to worry about what would happen if we had dinner reservations and I ended up getting delayed at work. The other was that the restaurant where we were eating had seafood on the menu Saturday night and a set menu today. So, we weighed the benefits of celebrating a day early and decided to go out last night.

I like getting dressed up when Master and I go out. I don't always get the chance to spiff myself up. I love wearing corsets and I found a great wrap dress that looks great with the corset over it. I was laced into it but not overly tightly which ended up being a good thing because of how filling our meal was.  Occasionally I feel self-conscious when I wear it so I topped it with a pashmina which was nice and warm. I had stockings on and a pair of knee high boots. I would have worn a little less clothing but it was -40 out with the windchill so some concession had to be made to warmth.

Dinner was amazing! Master and I both had the same meal. The restaurant is one we go to on a semi-regular basis and so they are used to him ordering for me. It's nice when you can find a place like that. One that doesn't comment when you do things differently or make you feel awkward about what you are doing. Master tends to do the ordering unless its something super complicated. He always has the final say about what I get to eat or drink.

We also went to see Deadpool. It was hilarious. Definitely deserved the R-rating but so so so funny. Its not your conventional superhero movie but definitely worth a watch if you have a chance. The horribly drunk fellow in the audience didn't even manage to ruin the fun.

Once we were done it was time to head home for some rough sex. Master slapped me around a bit and the overall experience was amazing. Definitely one of the better Valentine's Days I have had to date.

Today it was back to normal again although we exchanged gifts today. I gave Master an iTunes card and some chocolates and he gave me a book I've been dying to read. Fifteen Dogs. I just have to find some time to read it now. We have tomorrow off and I somehow managed to score Tuesday off as well. Back to the regular old routine, I guess.
