It's a brand new year. It looks like its been quite a while since I've posted here. There are a bunch of reasons for that. Life, and the things we HAVE to do, seem to have a curious way of getting in the way of the things we WANT to do. And the little things add up, and add up, and suddenly you realize that months have passed.

I didn't feel much like blogging for a number of reasons. One was that I just didn't FEEL the M/s aspect of my life. Master and i got comfortable, we let a bunch of things slide. Suddenly, i didn't feel like i had any right to offer up my life as an example of ownership or M/s because that aspect just wasn't there. Master and i had to work hard to come up with a good, sustainable balance that would keep the M/s present while taking into account the fact that some aspects just weren't working.

It's still a challenge, to be honest. I know that a lot of M/s or BDSM based relationships tend to fall apart after a while and i think that what we dealt with was one reason those relationships fail. You do get comfortable when you share your life with someone and if you let stuff slide it can really be damaging.

We're a little less formal, depending on the situation which works. There's less routine kneeling and more spontaneous incidents where i drop to my knees and kiss his feet. We're still working hard to figure out how all of the rest of the bits fall into line. As we figure it out, we'll let you know for sure.
