The holidays are all over now, or at least, this weekend is the dying gasp of them. The tree is down and all of the decorations are packed away. My kiddo is back after visiting family and the weird holiday hours are all done at work. Master goes back to work Monday and we can finally get back in the groove of daily life.
We had one hell of a storm here. It knocked out power to thousands of homes and damaged a bunch of houses and businesses. A number of them got flooded out as well which is a hazard now that we are living on the coast. Admittedly we didn't get hit as bad as other places but it was bad enough for me, thank you very much.
Now we get to sort out all of our paperwork and get ready for tax time (yay us, yay being adults). I always plan to stay on top of things as the year passes but I always somehow end up doing everything in a weekend. There are things I can't get my hands on yet but what I can gather, I will.
