The move is getting really close now. Master and I will be having the packers come in on the 28th, the truck will be loaded on the 29th and the house will be cleaned on the 30th of this month and then we will be on our way. I've been pretty organized about everything, I think, and I think that in the end, it will be worth all of the stress and strain.
I've been very lucky in that Master has been very helpful and involved in the moving process. He COULD simply tell me to handle all of the things and then sit back and relax but he hasn't. Partly, it's because he is awesome and partly it is because it is his work that is moving us and he has to be involved to sign paperwork etc.
I'm counting down the days until I am done work. 13 days. Only 13 days left. Sometimes I am sad about that and sometimes one of the special snowflake customers comes in to the store and the end can't come fast enough. Don't get me wrong, I know there are special snowflakes no matter where I go but a change will be nice.
I still have to get my eldest graduated and moved out of the house. I have to book flights for the cats and hotels for the humans and dogs. We have to get our advance money and tie up all the loose ends (can I be a loose end please?) and actually get on the road. Then, the real adventure can begin.
It's going to be wonderful.
