A Bit of Alone Time

It's March Break here and this means that the kidlets are off school for a week. Yay. Don't get me wrong, its not that I don't love the kidlets, its just that having them around ALL day EVERY day is really not high on my list of things I enjoy. Originally, I had heard rumors that their father would be in the area and that they would be going down to visit with him but that ended up not panning out. So, I figured that Master and I would get to enjoy their company all week. Master more than me simply because he is on holidays as well.

Then I heard from their grandparents on their dad's side. They wanted to find a way to have the kidlets go and visit them. It turns out that they will be picked up on Monday and will be staying away until Wednesday which is really just about perfect. I do enjoy having my children around and so them being here for a few days is going to be nice. I just get to have a bit of a holiday.

It also means that Master and I will get to enjoy some alone time and that means we get the chance to play. If you've been reading along, you know that isn't something that gets to happen that much. I do work for a good chunk of the time and so it's not going to be a time of constant togetherness but it is something, and for that I am grateful.
